"On any given Tuesday night any given team can be victorious...unless they're playing us!"
These were the sentiments shared by the entire IRNS team as they steamrolled their way through two teams who were far outmatched in the final regular season match-ups. "Good teams are SUPPOSED to beat bad teams, and that's what we did... We beat them, hard,"stated team AC Josh "El bandito" Oshinsky. Heading onto the court in match 1, IRNS came out firing against a green team that only two weeks prior handed them there only loss since the first week of the season. After a 6-0 first game finished off by a HUGE catch finish by perennial killer BLAZER, Rob "the sniper" Amos took over. Landing 4 back to back kills coupled with a couple of timely catches from team defender J-awesome, the green team cowered back to the sidelines crushed in defeat. "It should always be this easy," Sniper added. Final score 14-0.
The last two matches were a blur of exciting blasts, catches, and kill shots all leading up to the inevitable, a 4-0 sweep for IRNS and a 21-3 regular season record assuring them 1st place in the final standings for the season and a bye to the finals in next weeks playoffs. When asked if a championship was preordained, The team walked off in the freezing cold night with a simple..."I'd rather not say"
